This is the work of becoming your own
home.

Jacqueline (“Jacqui”) Grant brings a deep respect for the healing potential of creative expression, particularly in the areas of trauma and addiction recovery. Her work is rooted in over a decade of personal experience in therapy, including long-term participation in IFS therapy with psychotherapist Dr. Kimberley S. Benson, as well as her own lived journey of recovery and self-discovery.

Jacqui began facilitating expressive arts workshops in July 2022 at the Salvation Army Center of Hope, where she developed an approach centered on creative exploration and inner awareness. The success of this work led to its integration into the Center’s CRP Drug and Alcohol Recovery Program. She later expanded her workshops to Mindsol Wellness Center and Sarasota Addiction Specialists Adult Outpatient Program, where she serves as a counselor.

Through Seeds of Self Actualization Workshops (SOSA), Jacqui offers experiential, art-based practices designed to support individuals in exploring their inner world with curiosity and compassion. Her work invites participants into a process of self-reflection, emotional awareness, and creative expression — a gradual return to their own inner steadiness.

While Jacqui has extensive personal experience with trauma and recovery and is currently pursuing studies in the mental health field, she is not a licensed therapist and does not provide clinical mental health treatment. Her workshops are educational and experiential in nature. Grant brings a profound understanding of art's therapeutic potential to addiction recovery and trauma healing.
